Pedro Blanco

Senior Architectural Designer – Director

Pedro joined Kardent in February 2013, after working in the architectural field as a designer and project manager for over 30 years. He was offered a role with Kardent after collaborating with them while he was with another architectural firm that went out of business. Pedro enjoys many things about Kardent including the open-door policy, camaraderie, professionalism, and team work. There is always a solution attitude, not a problem attitude. He also loves the view from his window and home is a short drive away. In his spare time, Pedro is passionate about traveling. He is curious by nature and enjoys learning about others, history, and geography. As expected, architecture is always on his mind during travel. One of his favorite memories while traveling was walking the ruins of Pompeii. Pedro also loves sports, with soccer and Formula 1 being favorites. He likes mixing it up and watches live Formula 1 races, Wimbledon, and World Cup matches while traveling. What he enjoys most is spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He loves pets and hopes to adopt a dog and cat soon. He grew up on a cattle farm where he had horses, dogs, and cats plus tons of wildlife to enjoy.

Pedro holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from UNMDP – Mar del Plata – Argentina

“What famous architects taught us over the years is to never underestimate the power of design. Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid, and Le Corbusier became famous for their intuitive thinking, out-of-the-box approach, and stunning projects. However, the legacies they entrust us with are far greater than that. It’s perhaps their words of wisdom that inspire me the most.”
