Commercial Retail Design Services LA County - The Coop (South Play)

KARDENT Commercial Design Architects collaborated with The Coop (now called South Play) to design and remodel their flagship day play and party venue for children, creating a dynamic and immersive space that inspires creativity, imagination, and joy for kids of all ages.

Project scope for the one-story, 2,300 square foot retail space included:

• Brand Guideline Assurance: Ensuring brand consistency through coordination, while also sourcing local products to promote community engagement and authenticity.

• MEP Engineering: Coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems with the client’s Design-Build contractor.

• Storefront Entry: Design and implementation of the storefront entry.

• Patio Area: Design and implementation of the enclosed patio area.

• Restrooms: Design and implementation of the restrooms.

• Lighting: Design and implementation of the lighting system.
• FF&E Design: Design and selection of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) for the space.
